The more I dig into the world of creative faith, the more I find! So far, I’ve focused on beginners–tips and tricks for getting started because that is where I am. BUT, you also have to see how far you can push this art. Because, WOW, Tiffany Richards at Tiffany’s Garden does some amazing work and she offers free tutorials and templates to help you not only recreate her work, but also learn how to make your own. She’s super nice and friendly, willing to answer any questions you might have (she gave me permission to post some of her samples here.) She hasn’t had her journaling Bible for very long, but she’s got skills!

Tiffany uses “digital stamps” to create images which you can print out, and then trace right onto your journal or Bible. (Using graphite or tracing paper like this at Amazon: Grey Transfer Paper, 9-Inch-by-13-Inch)

I’ve been wondering how people create such detailed works on a surface like a thin Bible page without a lot of erasing going on (or at least, I know I’d need a lot of erasing if I drew freehand!) I’m thrilled to learn this behind-the-scenes trick. I hope you like it too!

Here are a few of Tiffany’s examples with links to the tutorials (Click on the image and you’ll go right there.) Trust me, you’ll want to hop on over to her website to see all the other goodies she has.
