I don’t know how I’ve missed out on this reading challenge in the past, but I stumbled across it on Pinterest today and I’m all for it. This reading challenge has been going on for five years already! I feel so behind. But the good news about this challenge is that it is low-key and do-able. Here is what Carrie at Reading to Know says:
Read as much Montgomery as you can during the month of January.
What I ask participants in this challenge do is to write up a post on your own blog stating the following:
a.) That you intend to participate in this Lucy Maud Montgomery Reading Challenge;
b.) List which of her books you intend to read (or which movies you intend to watch); and
c.) Enjoy whatever it is that you manage to work through during the month.
Thanks, Carrie!
Here are my choices:
1. Lucy Maud Montgomery: The Gift of Wings
2. The Selected Journals of L.M. Montgomery, Vol. 1: 1889-1910
Here is my Booktube video about what I’m reading:
I’m so glad that you found me! It was very fun to watch your video. (I’ve never had anyone video their challenge books before!)
I hope you make some progress on your reads. Good for you for chippin’ at them. And good luck on your own writing in the meantime! 🙂
I look forward to seeing how far you make it this month!
Carrie, have you heard of Booktube? It’s a subset of Youtube where people vlog about their books. It’s so much fun–I’m just starting to dip my toe into the booktube world. Thanks again for setting up this challenge!
What fun! I love the video! Welcome to the LMM challenge! This is my sixth year to participate, and I’ve been a fan of LMM for over 25 years! (My DH and I even went to PEI on our honeymoon!). I look forward to reading (or viewing!) your thoughts on your picks.
Amy, I haven’t made it to PEI yet, but it’s on the bucket list 🙂
