All of last year I read through Grimms’ Fairy Tales and analyzed them from a writer’s perspective. #GRIMMread2019
Fifty-two blogs later, I’m revisiting my thoughts, organizing them, and collecting them into a book on how to write a fairy tale.
This is turning into a much larger project than I expected. I’ve realized that blogging and “booking” are not the same thing, and I’m having to do a lot of editing.
As I edit Lessons from Grimm, I’m keeping in mind other writers like me, writing teachers who work with youth, and that young aspiring author who has the summer off school and wants to spend it writing a book.
To maximize value for you, I’m including exercises at the end of each chapter, and I’m also producing a companion workbook for guided brainstorming. Target publication date is June 22nd.
The preorder is up on Amazon for the ebook. Links to other stores will post soon. As I get closer to the publication date, the paperback preorders will go up as well. Hope you like it!
