My first comicon! It was CRAZY. So many people…so little parking 🙂
I started off with a signing, though, sadly no books do to a shipping snafu. Gave away bookmarks and postcards instead. Met some really nice people and watched the never-ending line at the Barrowman’s booth.
Since my family was with me, we switched to some kids activities after that. One kid visited the art room (via the mermaids in the outdoor lagoon) while the other went to a Pokemon something or other.
Then it was off to my debut author panel with Amy K Nichols, Austin Aslan, Beth Cato, and fellow Entangled author Jamie Wyman. Our topic was “The Secret Lives of Debut Authors.” There were two really great panels going on at the same time as ours, but we had a pretty full house just the same. Our group had some really good questions. I suspect we will see some future authors out of that crowd.
In all, a busy, full day.
