DDress for Success is an international organization that helps disadvantaged women find, and keep jobs, by providing them with career-appropriate clothing, support, and career guidance. They have helped over 700,000 women enter the workforce since 1997.

This is such a wonderful organization and I am thrilled to be supporting them with a Shoe and Handbag drive during my book launch party on June 3rd at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, AZ. (Locals: Put it on your calendars now. Seriously. I don’t want you to forget because its going to be lots of fun and I want to gather piles and piles of shoes and handbags for Dress for Success!)

I know I have a lot of visitors to my blog because of the #atozchallenge so I encourage you to see if your communities have a Dress for Success chapter you can donate to.

The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help our clients find jobs and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work.
