I’m such a fan of fairy-tale art. It’s colorful and whimsical and above all else, tickles your childhood imagination.
With the re-branding of my Cinderella books, I’ve been so thrilled to work with Jenny over at Seedlings Design Studio. I’ve been a fan of her art for years and knew she’d be the perfect cover artist for this project.
The re-branded Cinderella’s Shoes is set to come out in August 2018.
The ebook will be available first, with the print version going up for sale a little bit later. (These covers look AMAZING on bookshelves!)
Cinderella’s Shoes is book 2 in the series.
DRESS and SHOES are the only ones that are connected and should be read in order. Snow White’s Mirror is slated to publish in mid December.
Later will be a Little Mermaid story and a Beauty and the Beast (both in various stages of first drafts.)
Here’s the new blurb for Cinderella’s Shoes:
Some things stepsisters never forget…
Now that Cinderella’s dress has been safely hidden away, Kate Allen sets her sights on finding the magical glass slippers. The Kolodenkos claim Cinderella’s shoes have been lost to the family, but Kate is convinced she knows where they are. Or at least, who might know where they are.
With her dad still missing, Kate could use a pair of shoes with the power to reunite loved ones. But to find the famous glass slippers, she’ll have to get around the tight-lipped Kolodenko family and travel to post WWII Poland.
As official keeper of the wardrobe for Cinderella’s heirlooms, she’s learning that balancing alliances between Cinderella’s heirs and the stepsister’s descendants may cost her more than she’s willing to give up.
Can she stop a family feud that has lasted for centuries?
