I just started reading How to Write a Sentence: And How to Read One
by Stanley Fish and right away he gives this great quote from Annie Dillard. I had to turn it into a graphic to post on my growing Pinterest board.
This is the second quote from Annie Dillard that I’ve captured and turned into a piece of art. My all-time (so far) favorite quote from her I put on a coffee mug this summer when my daughter and I went to our local ceramics shop for some mother-daughter time.
Armed with the quote from Annie Dillard and inspiration from GingerWorld I came up with:
“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
I don’t know where this particular quote comes from, but the first is from The Writing Life and has now been added to my TBR list.
